Simili Japon is a smooth, lustrous ivory 60 lb paper made from pure alpha cellulose. It is manufactured with long fibers which make it highly resistant and perfect for ink drawings. It is transparent and therefore also lends itself well to calligraphy using a scaled grid. Vegan friendly.

"Iroful" means "colorful," substituting the English word "color" for the Japanese word "iro." Accordingly, this new paper from Sakae TP—the originator of the hugely popular Tomoe River paper before its move to Sanzen—aims to bring out colors' full depth and vibrance with crisp lines and excellent shading and sheening for fountain pen inks. Iroful paper has a somewhat soft feeling and slight texture, and the 75 g/m thickness reduces ghosting and show through.
